Why I'm starting to prefer Trusts for dungeon leveling.

I like the fact that I can just take my time and enjoy the lore/banter of the place while seeing the sights. It's great for that. Nice for practicing tanking, too. Nice addition.

I feel the same way. Ran all the MSQ dungeons with Trusts the first time for the reasons you stated-- enjoying the lore, character reactions, environment, etc.

Also, since Stormblood, I had given up healing, even though I really enjoyed it, due to having to research each run beforehand. It made the game more like a job to me, so I took up dps.
Now I'm leveling my healer in the trust system to practice and really commit the mechanics to memory before entering duty finder. I find that it's helping me become more confident in my abilities to use everything in my toolkit when healing to maximize dps. And it's fun again.

I never timed a Trust run, just because I'm enjoying the system and having fun with it. If I have to time something it means it's something I'm not enjoying or having fun with in the first place.

For me, the biggest problem with trust is how easily bosses get reset. I'm not always the quickest to react to mechanics and when I do, I will often be hit by things even when standing on top of the NPCs - which causes a reset.

I don't think I was ever able to get through the whole dungeon with a trust except for maybe the level 77 one. Every other time I gave up after having to run back to the boss time after time.

I vaguely want to level them but I don't know if that will be possible.

Weird things happend to me the last few days.
I have levelt some Jobs with trust. All good. But the last few days it happens that the healer is dying.
No matter if I take Alphinaud or Urianger. At one point Alphinaud and Alisaie died. And just now Urianger died and stayed dead the whole time. I have no clue how Thancred did not die without getting healed.
And I don't know why nobody raised Urianger. Did SE change some things with trust?

I did notice urianger dying for the first time ever in the 77 dungeon yesterday
Before i've never had anyone but alisae die because she's reckless

Haven't noticed any changes. My trusts have been champs I mean they make me feel like a bad!

I saw Alphinaud die in a trash mob in the 73 dungeon.

I think he didn't get out of Acorn Bomb in time? Thancred then used a Phoenix Down to revive him.

One thing is worth mentioning. The Conversation between trusts.
When Alphinaud and Alisaie both died Alphinaud was saying " Are you ok Alisaie? You look terrible"
I don't know if it's the same in the english version. I'm playing the german version.
