lol what speculation? Every point he made in that post is true. I saw the same crap before they made it un-skippable. People were telling newbies to go watch cut scenes in the INN and there are now limits on how much a tank can pull because of barriers. Go run the first lvl 51 dungeon from HW

No, not really. You need to learn to distinguish between the truth and your feelings. He's still trying to say that antagonistic player behavior was responsible for the change, despite the total absence of evidence for such things. I realize that GD has a constant ax to grind with the player base at large, but this is little more than slander at this point.

Wasn't the change made because speedrunning the dungeons would dogpile the new player with scenes, and this caused only the most recent one to play after the one they are currently on making them miss out on all of the other ones that came between them?

Like, I don't think the change was made directly because of negative players harassing new players, since they couldn't force the player to stop watching their cutscene, I'm pretty sure it was more because if they wanted to watch the cutscenes while everyone else blew through the place they literally couldn't because of the way cutscenes work.

It was a domino effect, the speed running, people telling newbies to skip cut scenes and then the issue you mentioned above. I have seen a few people even kick newbies out because they watched cutscenes.

As in, I've kicked/agreed to kick players harassing players for watching cutscenes. lol
