I don't want to be mean and say you're right, but it does make me wonder if you guys are only able to see lower res textures than PC. If that's true, that's a tragedy.

I don't see how it's a tragedy if we think the game looks fantastic while other people grumble about the quality of the graphics.

I'd be more for options in general. The races are very limited. Things like tattoos, facial hair, face paint, faces.

As to visual fidelity, textures could use some work, a lot of work. Otherwise, I think the game actually looks great.

See thats the thing.....if Im looking at lower rez...then these are good looking Low Rez textures.
Which doesn't sound Tragic at all. Sounds like I have have less to worry about then others.

Yeah the visual update will be FF16. lol, will probably see another ffxiv style mmorpg before another ff rpg title too.

I never got the idea they plan to keep this mmorpg going like WoW. They're already at the 3rd expansion and honestly the ride never changes just the MSQ story. They tend to releases lots of random content and just let it die off. I don't get the sense any of this game involves a long-term plan.

Honestly I would be fine with that. Tell the full story of FF14 and then release a new FF MMO.

The chances of them doing a visual upgrade is little to none. They claim they wanna do one for XIV but I'm not holding my breath. That's not to say I don't support any visual upgrade to the game tho.

If they said they want to chances are very good.

Possibly due to sitting further away from your TV. I'm about 30" away from my monitor. Though I'm still in 1080p. Got two friends running in 4k and things get noticeable when they're not made for those higher resolutions.
