Whats your personal favorite job?

I like the idea of Bard...you know the whole playing music fantasy thing is kind of cool to me. But it concerns me that no one even mentioned Bard.

I think bard is fun to play, I just like some other jobs more. I also have had a long wish bard was more bard like - with the songs and support, perhaps as an example a bit like dancer has it's dance theme pretty core to the job, or before bard was really entrenched (1.0->ARR days, Archer being a class going into a job) I wanted Ranger :3 (that's long gone)...

Still it's fun, I enjoy leveling it and don't feel useless when using it (which is important haha). I just like the theme and mechanics of other jobs a bit more.

I heard that they used to be a lot more geared towards buffs but that shadowbringers changed that. Kind of disappointing really.

Friendship with PLD over, Now GNB is my best friend.

But real talk I've not had this much fun with class in awhile. I would always play PLD but I was never completely satisfied and would just casually level other classes. Now I can't get enough of GNB and have taken the time to actually dive deep into what it can do.

(My Profile atm is having some issues. Character hasn't updated in months which is why it displays GNB not unlocked yet.)

It used to be MCH because of the tech-esque theme, but the clunkiness prevented me for playing. ShB version is exactly what I wanted from it...

Except they gave us DNC and I fell in love with the job. :T

Well, AST has been my favourite ever since HW. Not a fan of it right now, hopefully they fix most of its issues in the near future. I swapped to MCH for now and ... I'm having a blast! The gameplay is super smooth and the rotation is not overly complex yet you are always busy. Nuking a single target with a crit drill is super satisfying, as is spamming flamethrower/poison gas/auto crossbow on large groups of enemies. My only gripe would be the Queen robot. It feels ... very underwhelming visually compared to the rest of the skills. You will barely notice her in 8 player group content which is a shame.

Oh.. you mean in game? Probably Red Mage, maybe Ninja. Bard was my favorite, but it just feels bad now.

GNB. Been waiting on this for a long time and it doesn't disappoint.

Blasting Zone is everything I wanted it to be, even if in my heart of hearts I wish it had double the potency.
