BLM always. BLU is nice too, but I don't count it as it currently isn't a real job and likely never will be.

I really like Dancer except for one issue: I feel like I look at my hotbars more than the boss. Everything is proc, proc, proc...

Yeah.... I really wish they'd do something about that. Procs are nice and all, but when I'm spending most of my time staring at my status bar or skill bars than actually appreciating the fight, it makes me sad. DNC is a class that makes me wish they'd add more skill bars for being able to put certain skills wherever for easier proc spying.

Maybe you can try setting up a second set of hot bars at minimum size with all the proc skills on the side slightly centered in your peripherals. Then set the skills up in the exact same order they show up in your orginal skill bar so when you see it pop it's like muscle memory and you know which skill and what location to click.

I started this class when Shadowbringers hit, playing DPS for the first time ever in this game as main class.
I've always played White Mage and Paladin since the game started, but now I'm trying out this class.


And even though I am questioning my performance, rotation etc, and struggle to get through certain duties, I'm actually having a lot of fun with this class.

Then set the skills up in the exact same order they show up in your orginal skill bar so when you see it pop it's like muscle memory and you know which skill and what location to click.

Unfortunately, I use all of my hotbars as it is, between class skills (3 bars and some having a few skills off of a 4th), plus 4 on the sides for jobs, crafters, gatherers, PvP, Trust and chocobo access, while one at the bottom serves as a general bar (like turning side bars off for fights since I don't need it during, LB, mount, food, ring port, repair + dark matter left). So... like I said, I could use just like.. 1 more bar for strictly placing skills in a convenient place for jobs that heavily rely on proccing.

As it were, I've tried ways of making the crossbar work, but without having slots hidden if not in use, it takes up far more space than I'd like it.
