Did you say anything in party chat? I would assume one of two things happened here.Got Gubal Library normal mode the other day. Tank goes in pulls the first to adds and I start DPSing. I notice the tank is taking a lot of damage for just two enemies. Check their gear and this is what they're rocking:
I assume Jump potion alt shenanigans but It all went fine. They pulled small and the DPS were good... However they didn't roll for any of the accessories that dropped for them... I feel bad for whoever gets them in higher level content.
A. They queued in wearing an RP set and forgot to change into their actual armor. (It's emberassing to say but I've done this before.)
B. They're just trolling.

... chain pulling GUNs that don’t use a single mitigation skill in the level 71, even on bosses... and stand in the middle of pulls with half the mobs behind them ...
... tanks that don’t realize they have AoE instant skills now with no TP cost that chain pull ...
... Dancers that do final step out if combat and it’s not a timing accident from having started it during the prior fight, but like a prepull way before the fight starts ...
... Being a dancer in Titania normal while leveling and seeing that my DPS is 50% of the group’s total, and folks are trying to find out what mechanic they missed that caused us to wipe. As in... the mechanic ya’ll done missed was called ‘hit teh buttonz’, any of them, cause there is no sane world where a dancer tops DPS in a trial fight, let alone by that margin. But instead I just soldier on without comment to be nice ...

One guy in duty finder just gave me a laugh. I queued into Nidhogg normal as SAM. It was a bit rough, as that trial can get, but we were doing fine. About midway through I notice a little new leaf run away from the group with a group up marker on them. We chase after them, so they live, but I gave them a friendly headsup in chat, thinking it was the first time they'd seen that marker.
I got this gem of a conversation in response. Green is me, red is them.
And then they walked out.
All I can say is that someone took the warrior of darkness label to its extreme, coz the edge is strong with this one.
This dude will die alot in later trials if he doesnt care about the group up marker :'D .One guy in duty finder just gave me a laugh. I queued into Nidhogg normal as SAM. First time it was poor positioning. Second and third times the healer died. Last time I don't even know. I think we were all new. I got caught a couple times but usually I was the last one standing. Seething. I think I might wait to do Expert when some new dungeons come out or something.

That's the gear you get when you unlock Gunbreaker - in the chest they received. So they may have thought it was all they needed?Got Gubal Library normal mode the other day. Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.

Which you could forgive if he was wholeheartedly new. But he has a 70 arcanist and 70 ast. Even if those two were bought with jump boost, thats still two jobs he had to grind to 70.
The mentality of "I'm just gonna level this with whatever I got till the next level tier" has got to stop.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

The new job boosts jump you up to 70 now, not 60 like in Stormblood. If they bought them in the last couple of weeks, they could have boosted the two jobs just to get GNB. They still should have taken the time to notice that they barely had anything equipped, of course, since the job boosts also provide accessories and their GNB gearset would look suspiciously empty.Which you could forgive if he was wholeheartedly new. Edit: that's also just one job boost, since it's SCH and SMN unlocked; I'm fairly certain they boosted that one just to unlock GNB or something.
