Windows 10 has a setting that auto-adjusts scaling if it thinks anything is appearing blurry. Sometimes I'll get a pop-up notification asking me if I would like to enable it. Try turning that off if it's on.

Thank you for the reply sideshowsam.

The UI settings are saved in that locally-saved folder in 'My Documents'. If your UI settings are being reset, then that folder is having difficulties saving the changes properly. Make sure that your anti-virus has the proper exceptions for that folder. Also try removing the folder entirely. The game will repopulate the folder if it does not detect it. Once this is done, reset your UI settings and log out. Check to see if they have reset themselves when you log back in. Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

Hello and thank you for the input. I have tried your solution including the deletion of the my documents folder, and the problem came back the next day. I just want to verify that my problem was understood, the UI settings themselves do not reset. It is only the scaling which changes. All other changes to the HUD are saved properly. Thank you.
