Yes but as we know from the times we fought Ascians previously that it takes a incredibly massive amount of aether to create the sword of light/aether needed to use the White Auracite to kill them, which all came from outside sources. So it's fair to say we used up the light aether from the wardens to use the Auracite as there was no other source of aether available to use.

not necessarily its possible what we used to make the weapon of light is only from 1 light warden... cause each light warden has enough light in them to make the sky eternal light. i would imagine that just 1 light wardens power would be more than enough and thats not counting titania or inoocent.

My question is where do we go from here? If we can kill an un-sundered Ascian at full strength and in its true form, then what else could challenge the Warrior of Light? Other than Zodiark himself? Maybe Hydaelyn? Midgardsormor? A newly empowered Zenos? I mean, this is a video game so they can always create new bad guys. But killing a full-powered Ascian is a pretty awesome feat.

I definitely had the same thought... Why didn't the other Ascians we fight have final forms the way Emet Selch did? Also, we ran into 5 Ascians. Where are the other 9 Ascians of the Convocation? Did I miss something?

Most of the other Ascians we've fought weren't unbroken. Lahabrea tried something with Ascian Prime, in what Hades rightfully called his crowning act of idiocy, and then got eaten by Ascalon before he could retreat or take on his own transformed state. It's also possible that Hades was unique in that he was something of an Ascian Primal considering how much dialogue there was throughout the fight about him being the bearer of all his brothers and sisters' hopes and prayers.

The seats of Lahabrea and Emet-Selch will likely remain vacant, and as far as I'm aware the seats of Igeyorhm, Nabriales, and Loghrif are currently empty. Gaius has multiple red masks as trophies, but I don't know who they belonged to or what happened to their wearers.

Why can’t they keep every fight close to equal skill. We don’t have to keep getting so ridiculously powerful. Just like Real life fights you can beat someone better than you and lose to someone worse than you.

Why do we always have to power creep our way into nothing being a threat

Keep in mind, nearly every time we beat something extremely out of our league, we have the help of something incredibly beyond ourselves:

Ultima Weapon - Hydaelyn's Blessing, fully revealed for the first time.
Nidhogg - either Nidhogg's Eye or Hraesvelgr's Eye, powerful arcane objects that give us near-superhero levels of strength and endurance beyond our normal abilities.
Shinryu - the fully restored Blessing of Light from Hydaelyn after the events of the post HW patch series - beyond that, it's just another Primal, which is kind of our thing.
Hades - the combined light energy of every Lightwarden on Norvrandt, as well as the combined power of two Warriors of Light, and 7 additional called Warriors of Light from 'stars yet undimmed' - we are truly bringing ALL TO BEAR against him. And it's still nearly not enough.

For normal primals, it's established in the lore that even normal warriors can stand against them, so it's not out of the question that an echo-blessed adventurer like us, especially one as skilled as we are, can stand against them by pushing ourselves to our mortal limits. For these world-shaping battles, though, we almost always have something that is pushing us past our mortal limits, some sort of godly assistance, or some sort of power that is beyond that which most mortals are able to receive. I think, eventually, we're going to run out of these divine interventions, and be forced to save the world by our own power alone. When that happens, well, we'll truly see what the Warrior of Light is capable of, won't we?

im pretty sure that he said warriors across the rift cause to him the rift is space AND time. so i think it was warriors of light fom verying points of history . since there are not 7 undimmed stars left... since 10 are missing from the equation first is the source we are the hero of the source so cant be that. then theres the first and all the warriors of light of the first are dead and 1 fused with us. then the voide the only living warrior of light of the void is unakalhai and likely didnt summon him. then theres 7 shards that fell to calamity and rejoined so cant be them. so all thats left of "undimmed stars is 4.

If you go back see Temulun after the MSQ, she said to us "The light within you shines as brightly as before. More brightly, even."
I took her meaning that Ardbert was now part of us, and our soul is now more whole, thus "shines more brightly" (though of course she doesn't know about Ardbert). I'm pretty sure we burnt off the overflow of Light we built up beating Emet.

Lahabrea was an 'idiot' that weakened himself overtime by jumping from body to body.

Elidibus was more concerned about the socio-political context. He wanted people to see you die by mortal hands. You had to be killed by Zenos.

Emet-Selch went full nuts on you. It's also telling that he didn't seem to get along with the other two unsundered Ascians. It can also be noted that we fought him basically on his own prepared stage.
