So our DPS is basically 0-100 with 2 buttons. You're either doing the max dps you can or you're not doing any at all. It makes it easier for Healers who are less inclined to DPS to see how easy it is to contribute while making it easier for experienced Healers to keep solid damage up throughout a whole fight.
I mean, I can see that. I disagree with it (it wasn't hard to DPS as SCH before), but at least I can see that.

Also, I see people complaining about not having an AF dump and not wanting to overheal. The solution is simple. Have an AF charge you want to use? Stop using Adloq and let the Tank take a hit. Honestly never felt I couldn't use all of my AF charges without overhealing.
And I'm pretty happy with getting sub 5% overhealing in dungeons at the moment.
This one's a bit more nuanced. Running a trial with a good tank? Absolutely you have Aetherflow forever and you basically don't even need to use a single heal outside of AF...and you STILL have AF left over. Change over to a dungeon with a tank that pulls wall to wall and doesn't know what cooldowns are? A WHM is mildly annoyed because they only get half the Holy casts....whereas the SCH uses all their AF and Consolation and Fey Union and Dissipation and Recitation and burns enough mana to use Lucid and still goes OOM...and if they're lucky the tank survives. If we'd been able to Aetherflow before he went nuts, might not have been an issue. If our baseline GCD healing spells were on par with WHM (Physick is quite literally a less powerful Cure1)...might not be an issue. As it stands, it can be.

The class is entirely feast or famine right now. Either everything is going great...or nothing is. There is no middle ground, and quite frankly I'd go as far as to argue that which situation we fall in almost entirely falls on the skill of the tank we get paired with, with very little allowance for our own abilities to make up for such.
