ok now that i got that out of the way. why does aetherpact have to be the same across all pets. It could be like enkindle and be a different buff for each egi . They could make it contagion when on garuda radiant shield on first and the armor that currently titan gives . off it would need to get buffed i think if it was 90 seconds cd it would be reasonable . it could be like the old troubadour where it did different stuff and depending how good it is it would give us a reason to swap.

Having aetherpact change depending on what pet you're actively using won't help anything, and will actually make matters worse overall for the buff. There's a reason Troubadour is no longer 3 separate buffs depending on what song you're singing, and part of the reason is that it made it way too difficult to get the actual buff you wanted out, when you wanted it out. Well, for SMN, tying it to the pet you have out just means you will always use whatever pet gives the highest personal or raid DPS, and the old contagion, both versions, were not fun to play with due to pet clunkiness, and I would definitely not look forward to a repeat of that. And don't get me started with Devotion coming off cooldown during FBT, which is what would happen with a 90s cooldown on aetherpact. None of those things would fix aetherpact, and it would make it feel worse overall instead of better.

it wasn't meant to be a fix idea for aetherpact it was meant to be a fun change . pet responsiveness has improved and as for raid dps we already use only ifrit on single target who is like 20% stronger? than garuda if the loss off ifrit dps for the 10 seconds of garuda was made up by its aetherpact then we would have a reason to swap for those 10 seconds. honestly the instacast pets seem to be the least appreciated thing. but if were just talking about fixing aetherflow the all we need is a different cooldown or make it a stack since then we would be able to delay it.
