Are the devs going to do something about the housing purchase timer?

They implemented the randomness for a reason, they aren't going to change it.

Best bet would be to wait till they open up the Ishguard housing district, people will move there and there will be planty of new spots to try and grab. That's how I got my house, when they added the Shirogane district, I was able to get a small house in the Lavender beds.

For what, to punish the entire community for what a bunch of stupid resellers were doing? I'm not against the timer, but at least make it shorter.
