Hmm, I don't see Hrothgar doing that bad actually, if look at those census. But I think it may be due to the aesthetics. Some simply don't like the feral like look, some love it. I personally enjoy their look, but due to how armor and weapons look on them, it didn't appeal to me personally. I'd personally wait and see in three months, to see how it pans out for all races, since know a few who left Viera to go back to Au Ra. I'm sure the same can be said for male avatars as well.

My issue with them was how weapons look on them personally, also I have always been a fan of the tiny races.

Also, I've been going through a bunch of stuff and it seems that female viera players are 90% lesbians and gays. Lesbians for the eye candy of a sexy tall strong amazong race and gays cuz they can play beyocne with rabbit ears. Im also surprised that male hrotgar is already the 6th least popular male race :/ Its kinda sad cuz I did enjoy seeign them arround, they look pretty cool

They will leave the wood to hunt down a foe that is a huge threat. So they go full assassin mode. I believe this was in the Japanese version

Yeah, if anyone has that, please post it. I'm specifically interested in the part where "they will leave the wood to hunt down a foe".

I use to hate that the Roe Dragoon stance with the lance up but its grown on me i always like the way roes held axes though

that being said beast like races are never really popular in MMO it be great if FF14 was the exception to this but it doesn't really matter about popularity even 2 Hrothgar to every 10 viera still adds some variety to the game.
