Playing a female WoL feels so natural for the story

i mean, when i play HW i try to stay as DRG, at the start of HW i was monk then about mid story i change to DRG, then at final fight i try to glamour myself to set the right mood for the final battle.

Not to be that person, but they are actually 18 as of now, they were 16 at the start of ARR and some time has passes. However, this changes NOTHING as Elezen are as you said slower to mature so they still definitely qualifies in the "NOPE! You are a creep" category.

Spiritually speaking, sure they're 18 now since they've been on the First for two years give or take. Physically though, still 16.

I kinda feel the opposite, now that I've played the game from "both sides" so to speak.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that you CAN play a female WoL. But having played as a fem Miqote/Au Ra (changed in HW) and then now playing as a Hrothgar, I actually feel my Hrothgar fits the "role" of WoL better than my Au Ra ever did. There was just something "off" about it. I think the size most of all (also the reason I can't play Lalas).

But regardless, it's good the game invokes those kind of feelings in people.

They were 16 going into Shadowbringers (due to the non-passage of time from ARR to ShB) and they were on the First for about a year before we showed up.

Their physical bodies are still on the Source. Hence why I differentiated their spirit age (because their spirit is on the First where years have passed) and their physical age (where no prove-able time has passed)

All you said was "physically speaking"... which isn't specific enough for someone to automatically assume you're talking about their bodies on the Source, because they have a physical form on the First as well.

Also, you said "spiritually speaking" they're 18 because you thought they had been on the First for 2 years, when it's only been 1 year.

Why would I make the differentiation between their physical and spiritual age, unless there were some time distortion brought about that would cause the two to be different? Like, say, their spirits being whisked away to an entirely new world while their bodies on the Source remained behind? Maybe it would be because, physically, they are still 16: their bodies remain in the Eorzean Time Bubble with no prove-able quantitative aging*, although their spirits are still gaining new knowledge and experiences. You saying "Physically they're 17" falls into the selfsame trap, by the way: it's not specific enough because there is dissonance.
