I just spent an hour carrying the worst level 60 party through dungeon finder I have ever come across. The BLM seemed to be casting spells at random. The WHM kept getting caught in tornados. Both dps were getting knocked off the platforms and not learning for past wipes.

My rotation for the final boss was savage blade riot blade clemency WHM who was continuously being tossed in tornados and clemency the dps the WHM didn't have time to heal. I never once saw a regen thrown out either.

And after it was all finished I got 0 commendations.

SMH why do people not know how to play at 60?

Yes that happens..Something I notice a lot with the newer players, and people just also don't seem to care much about them anymore.. I only cared to get that mount lol, I will give them out though if someone did a really good job, and was just generally cool. But yeah I have been in raids, where I have solo healed- and even saved the other alliances- whilst the other healer in my group either kept getting cut off, or more focused on doing dps... I hate healers that focus on dps, and don't keep their AOE regen, or shields on the group.

I once rezzed every person in my party, at least once in a 24 man raid as RDM and got no coms :P

You're not entitled to getting commendations. Also... Commendations are pretty worthless either way.

I always try to give the most deserving player a commendation, but sometimes they leave way too quickly, so it ends up being a random player.

It's really funny how these things work. Sometimes I feel like I did a terrible job that run, because I might be falling asleep at the keyboard or whatever and I end up with 2-3 commendations, but when I carry an entire party I end up with 0.

I think when a party gets carried they know it and scedadle as quickly as possible.

When I have a really bad day, messing up left and right, then I am more likely to see 3 commendations in a dungeon.
When I have a perfect run, no mistakes, then I am more likely to get 0 commendations in a dungeon.

Commendations are basically random.

I look at it this way, I main tanks and prefer to dps content. With viewing every single side of every single piece of content, I do some miraculous sh*t sometimes and clutch save a wipe. Especially as a tank. I can't count how many times a healer died in a boss and I clutch saved it single handed. I get zero comms for it.

So I learned to love the clutch plays I do, the performance I do without validation. A lot of people can't recognize a good player from a bad one, or a quick wipe saving move and that's ok. As long as I know I'm doing it, and doing it well.

Probably didn't get any because they are worthless, and people give them to whoever they think looks good, or is funny through out the run.

Sometimes I don't get comms when I feel like I deserve them, and sometimes I do get comms when I definitely don't deserve them.

I feel like it all balances out in the end.

It does feel nice to get comms when you know you did a great job, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Sometimes people just don't notice, or maybe someone else did an even better job. Whatever; it's okay.
