    Ive always found healing to be fairly non twitchy, unlike some classes that need to mash off global cooldown abilities between every attack. As a whm I can be fairly reactive while simultaneously throwing some damage/aoes when people dont need to be healed. You are the healer role and your main job is to keep people alive, but dont let that discourage you from throwing out dots or stones when people are fine.

    I use a target of target macro to keep my main target the tank and cast aero/stone on whatever they're targeting
    I think its

    /macroicon "Stone"
    /ac "Stone" <tt>
    /ac "Stone" <t>

    you use it on either your target's target if valid or your direct target if valid, just replace stone with aero for your dot.

    As far as MP usage goes, Lucid Dreaming in your role actions is going to be your best friend for this. Its only on a 60s cooldown now, and I usually pop it around 5-6k mp
