To add to this, I've been approached by one "male" viera so far and I kindly told them that I am a lore abiding RPer and that I wouldn't be able to RP with them because of it. They were accepting and understanding.I don't really care if it's in protest or not, but to me it's not lore abiding and therefore, in RP scenarios, will be ignored by myself. You're free to do whatever you like with your character, whether I approve or not. I just won't be engaging or accepting the character as male. Live and let live.
If we act with kindness, we avoid conflict.
Did they mention the toon was male in their search info? Usually that's...pretty important information you'd want to make apparent to avoid issues like this. I've never had an instance of someone misgendering my viera. So if they didn't put any indicator of them being male, then they can't be upset that someone got confused.Ok, changed my mind, bring in male Viera. After being attacked in messages for not using a male pronoun on a female Viera who wore a stupid looking mustache, bring in male Viera so I don't have to suffer fools like this. All I said was that they had a unique look, but she looked kinda cute. That set them off.
So, bring on Male Viera, lore be damned. Let the weirdos have their crap.

I'm not sure how this matters in an OOC affair? We were not in roleplay. They commented on my colouring, I commented on their unique appearance. And I'm sorry, saying you're male in your profile does not show such aspects for the avatar. Amazon as Viera are, they still got hips and bust, let alone the thighs and shoulders. There's nothing male like in appearance for them.Did they mention the toon was male in their search info? I tend to give people who get upset over such things a wide berth. In almost every case they tend to be a wellspring of drama. Such has been my experience, at any rate.
It also isn't reasonable to expect everybody to take note of search info before interacting - especially when major liberties are being taken.

I tried to make a 'manly' looking viera yeah not really possible they are undoubtedly female even with the fake tash. The mushtashe just looks fake ad awkward to me. Reminds me of the scene from Monty Pythons Life of brian. But folks will use what they have been given.

Usually when people (mostly Rpers) click on a character they check the search info for more information, out of curiosity or otherwise. It is very wise to put an indicator that your toon is male in there to avoid situations like this; it's just common sense. To not do that would be a HUGE oversight, and they have no right to blow up at someone over it, as nobody is a mind reader.I'm not sure how this matters in an OOC affair? We were not in roleplay. You did nothing wrong. Sorry you had that experience, friend.Ok, changed my mind, bring in male Viera. Ooookay. My spidey sense is telling me I know the exact direction this conversation is going to go in, so can we please change the subject before things get ugly?
