You act as if getting classes to level cap in this game is anything more than utterly simple. Work on it over the next two years. If I wanted to work for a mount I'd use a real life job to buy a damn horse. There's work and then there's a chore. I don't mind putting a bit of work into something to earn it, but it should be enjoyable. I don't want to level jobs I've never even leveled past 10 just to get a mount and never play that job again. That's just tedious.
Plus, there's plenty of content already in the game that requires a considerable amount of work already. I think you're forgetting about those things.
Months or years of work (depending on how much you play the game) for a such a common animal? That is truly like never giving us the chocobo for free in ARR but having to work for this ingame. They could have put a special version of the Amaro behind that grind and just give the normal one to us through the story...like they did all the other expansion before that!

Yep! You can level up your classes over the course of months and years for the grand reward of a generic camel chocobo!Months or years of work (depending on how much you play the game) for a such a common animal?
