I found a 1.0 benchmark but it didn't have character creation and I haven't yet found reference to a version with character creation. ARR had a couple benchmarks, I believe one with and one without character creation. One had a version number of 1.0.0.2, but that's obviously the version of the benchmark since it's for ARR.

You don't need character creation. You can see butts several times throughout the benchmark. They are not noticeable bigger. I also have old screenshots from 1.0.still can't tell the difference.

That image that gets floated around has the 1.0 miqo in a pose that extends her butt out. I think it was /stretch. Do the same pose in current version and guess what. Their butt sticks out.

Have any actual proof, that the butts are noticeably smaller? Not that they are in fact smaller. Noticeably smaller. Cuz I sure can't find anything.

All I've ever seen is a cherry picked screenshot. That's it. They standardized the butts. They are all proportionally the same to the body. Just like everything else.

Noticeable is subjective. The fact that this issue came up at the time and that it was addressed by the development team at the time beats your personal "noticeable" 5+ years later.

I mean, if 5+ years later is your mark, why does it matter to you, someone who never played 1.0 and wouldn't know the difference.
