The trust system has been great for me so far. Tanks never lose hate on any mob. NPCs have really good AI, especially on bosses. You can tell they programmed them with the boss mechanics. You can almost follow them around if you don't know what's coming next. I've only had a wipe in one dungeon, on one boss, but it was several before we got it lol.

I've done one of the dungeons with both NPCs and PC players. The NPCs don't DPS as well as PC players, so it took longer with them. Aside from that they're great.

The best things is that you watch cutscenes and then go directly into the dungeon with them, so it helps immerse you in the story.

Does the system only support ShB content? I've just picked up the game again after having left mid HW story and working my way through SB now. As I enjoy melee dps the most I'd love not to be stuck in dungeon queues forever.

I find the Trust System decent, but not perfect. For one, I have serious issues with figuring out which foe currently is being targeted by fellow DPS/Tank.
I think that on each pull, markers should be automatically placed on foes that tell which order they're going to be handled. I constantly find myself finding that the one I attack isn't the same as the other DPS is attacking.

Also, Mt. Gulg is too bright, the second boss (Cube) in particular. I have a super hard time to see the aoe markers and it felt like I was just doing everything blind. I got hit by pretty much every mechanic multiple times. I got vulnerability stacked up to around 6 or 7. Incredibly frustrating. I know the faces shoot a line, but I kept getting hit by something else, and I honestly have no idea what that is. If it is the floor that is shining, then I can't see it.
I know I am slightly colorblind, and I can only fear what other people with greater issues with colorblindness struggle with. And no, the colorblind options didn't help, sadly. I did manage to clear it though.

I’ve only made it to the first dungeon, but so far I love Trusts. As a healer, wait time has never been a problem, but I like that I can learn dungeons with zero pressure now. These dungeons will obviously be faster and smoother with skilled and geared players, but they open the doors for many people to enjoy the content more.

Been doing Trusts for the last 3 dungeons and so far I like it. I think you nailed it with how it gives the RPG element to it. When you and other NPC's are standing near a dungeon saying "We need to take care of what's in there." and you actually get to go in. Rather than feeling you ditched the Scions for random people.

It's also a good break from people. I jumped into roulette as my healer and got a Dancer that pulled for the tank, stopped at the last mob and ran to the next set to rush. Just made me just want to go back to Trusts.

Maybe this will teach toxic tanks not to pull the whole room and slow down. The biggest advantage to this people can go at their not be rushed.

I do enjoy the TRUST system myself it is nice having a Ranged DPS that actually doesnt run ahead and try and pull to a struggling tank and hits the target the tank is actually keeping aggro on. Would be nice if they AoEd but whatever at least they do it much better than your Grand Company Squadron.

I think you have to unlock the trust system in ShB MSQ, then it works with older content. I think I read that when I resesrched it.

Trust system work well for me, I like that, sometimes the dungeon takes 45 minutes and often less, and if we wype it's my fault (the time to know the boss), the Scions have a logical behavior and a way to avoid the AoE well to them, it's a shot to take next, it's cool and without pressure.

Currently, I'm doing 25 minutes run in Qitana and with luck, I'm looting a minion.

it changes me from random dungeon pressure and I love the idea of living a real adventure with the Scions.

Thanks SE for this alternative way of living the MSQ. ♥

Ps: Npc don't do AoE, but SAM have a lot way to do effective AoE now.

This very close to how I feel about the Trust system. I have arthritis so I can't move my fingers as fast as most players so being able to practice and do things at my own pace before playing with others is a huge blessing. I haven't been comfortable doing dungeons on most jobs because I struggle with the rotations or I need macros (that people keep telling me are bad and I should never use them) and now I can finally experience dungeons from another point of view instead of always playing RDM or a healer. Also a great system for getting to understand mechanics instead of just blindly executing them.
