The Devs really need to change how housing works.

the housing system in terms of availability is a total and utter failure. In a paid game service like FFXIV there is no excuse for all players above a certain level not to be able to own a home.

Yoshi seemed to like the idea of limiting houses so only a certain percentage of players had a house. The thing is not everything Yoshi likes is necessarily a good idea plus unless you're Japanese your suggestions are irrelevant, at least that's what I've heard on the vine. Apartments would've been a better alternative to having your own home if they also had gardens but I heard it's something to do with the weather that affects gardens? Another floor would've been nice too instead of the dinky little box with barely any room to swing a lalafel.
