I might feel a bit iffy though if we have to be 100% optimal with the new setup to only equate to what summoner was doing before. Is it wrong for me to want even better results for more work? I'd be curious if anyone has run the numbers on this yet.
That's the problem too. I can't say how the numbers are at level 80, but at level 75 and going absolutely crazy with the million of OGCDs and having everything nailed down with good melded gear and a top tier eureka weapon, performing my rotation without almost forgetting about anything, a MNK absolutely murdered me in DPS in the last boss of Qitana's Ravel. That was so so so disappointing, like I bet that monk was pressing 2 buttons at best xD. I can see your DPS bumping up by a pretty decent amount at 80, but before then, even if you have spiderman reflexes and manage to weave and not forget about a single OGCD and perform everything correctly, any half good DRG or MNK will make you look like a laughing stock (single target speaking, in AOE they can't even remotely come close to even compete with you, then again, AOE matters less...).
