Alot of Selfish people in this game!

ihave played forawile now lately founding way to many greedy selfish people who mostly think they are hardcore player or something.
Idident bother post anything untill ifeel its getting way to many of them

What bother me im sure for many people to is that when you wanna do your first level 50 fight ifrit exampel they dont pick you beacuse your never done it before they tell you back get experiance and training before join?!

Wtf how i suppose to train get experiance when people keep turn down on players?
My friend for exampel he is tank he read alot tactis w/e he knew how to tank / fight him.
And he joined a fight died beacuse noone healed him even if he tryed heal im self more then conj did and yet got text noob / kicked out of the party.

My experiance is never tanks fault when party dies if he doing his job and have the gear. But if healer dont heal how you suppose to win easy blame tank kick him.

This i see every f day people should stop try wannabe hardcore and learn play the game and learn how to use ur class.
Usely people say get a linkshell tell them to help you!
Its good point but its about find the linkshell community that does help you.

Just think of the future when more new player arrive when they get spit in the face from you player who belive ur better then them. Its all up to you make the game shit or better for everyone.

Find a better LS, and by better, I mean a group of helpful laid back people. If you're having trouble finding people, perhaps look into another server. I know that's drastic, but the point of any game is to have fun, right?

In FFXI you where forced to play with others to continue through the game.
Players that where too rude or antisocial where weeded out fairly quickly during the games peak.

In this game, you can solo to 50 no problem. The only things you don't experience are dungeons and primal items. I feel this has made the community less open and more prone to stick with whatever linkshell they grab first for the few party oriented quests.

Best advice I can give you is try to find a casual linkshell.

Also, I don't care if you're not an English speaker, singular "I"'s are always capitalized.

Ask your linkshell if you can fight big game with them or do instances. Thats how they scope you out. Gaming is pretty competitive and usually a guild strives for the cream of the crop. I had to fill out an application for linkshell almost like finding a job. They look for people that they are confident will be able to handle these battles. Life, online or off, is about who you know, and how you prove yourself. :/

Well you gave the answer yourself. Go make an effort to find a linkshell!

If you fight content with a random party you just get replaced if you suck. They do not have the time to hold every newb's hand.

If you fight content with your linkshell then (most of the time) people are willing to put up with your mistakes if you are actually improving, because in the long run you would become an experienced member the linkshell can use for other events.

You are probably the type of player he's talking about Mr. English teacher -.- his point was quite clear there are a lot of jerks that play the game. My suggestion, find a good ls or put the group together yourself.

But you know not everyone is like that.
I did a shout group for both Ifrit and Moogle (Ifrit I have won twice with pick up group and Moogle... well it's a work in progress) and after my little experience with certain individuals I decided to just do runs with my linkshell (which I am so happy to have!!) BUT....

No, I am not going to say that get a linkshell etc. etc. - I am sure you have heard it 1000 times before. What I am saying is that I shouted the people to do the NMs for Moogle fight with me and we took anyone with us who was interested.

For the fight itself I got a tell from 4 conjurers and yes I admit I asked if they had done it before and I picked the one who had attempted it over the person who had never even seen the area, but if only one or two conjurers had replied to me, I would have picked them both no matter if they had ever done it or not.

It's a bit like getting work experience after college... You can't get a job because you have no experience but you cant get experience either since you can't get a job.

Try putting up a group together yourself and maybe even say in your shout that you're looking to recruit new people to learn the fight mechanics, you would be surprised how many people out there are in the same situation as you

I'm ok with a little misspelling here and there, but it's the whole friggin post. And no, I am not an elitist. I actually have helped out many people with these fights and didn't complain once even when they repeatedly made mistakes. Way to assume that because I like people to type clearly, that I am an elitist. Good job!

Are you sure it's not you who is the selfish one?

Just because it's someones first time in the fight doesn't mean that they need to be carried through it. Chances are the group is gonna lose a few times anyway. They can learn the fundamentals of the fight in this time and be a somewhat good part of the team.
