Yeah, I am really sad, especially that we didn't get Shiva weapons. I always use them for glamour. Gonna have to find a new set of weapons that all match.

Somewhat. I was expecting the usual three: Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda weapons. Hopefully they add them either after official launch or in patch 5.1. I need to make that sweet crafter moneyz

I was expecting all of the 2.0 ones (especially MoggleMog--those weapons are so popular. Imagine a Dancer with that one, all the music notes particle effects) and some of the more popular ones from 3.0 and onward (Ravana, Sophia, etc)

3.0 launched with Ifrit/Garuda/etc. primal gear for AST and DRK. It also launched with crafted Ramuh weapons.

4.0 launched with Ifrit/Garuda/Bismarck/etc primal gear for RDM and SAM. It also launched with crafted Ravana/Sophia/etc. gear.

5.0 launches and GNB and DNC don't have any gear from past primals for glamour and there's no crafted weapons for any of the Stormblood primals (crafted Suzaku/Tsukuyomi/Shinryu weapons could have been really cool!)

Combined with them not adding any new PVP gear (which is always great for glamours) I just feel like there's no good new glam gear so far this expansion.

Has SE said if these things *will* be added ever?

I rather imagine that there may be 3 reasons for this

Reason the first. Its not officially the launch of 5.0

Reason the second. Consecutively since 3.0 Crafters have placed said primal weapons farther and farther past the budget of someone who isnt an omni crafter thus bumming out new players more and more. (9 million for a Sophia weapon e.g.)

Reason the third.It's only been 42 Hours Since Pre-Access and Gunbreaker and Dancer weapons are on the MB for 200+K gil thus reinforcing Reason the Second be the reason. Though I suspect quite likely its the first reason.

Yeah, I've actually got a feeling that it's #1 influenced by both 2 and 3, but mostly by 2. Trying to be patient and see what happens.

Imagine, six expansions down the line, SE adds two new classes AGAIN and -needs- to make 80-some new level 50, 60, ect weapons for people who -demand- it because they could do it when the game only had 2 endgames.

This is the point where they can't. Not in the same 2 year period that they could before. We could see some in the future, but for now, find one or two that suit your fancy and call it a day.
