Pretty much. For the record, I like that mages never need to go into active mode to cast spells and do work (wonder where that stems from), but they should get some club/staff weapon skills that require active mode. You know, if you wanna be lame and whack things with your stick.

Totally, but for mages it is like having a useless "stance". Honestly, why do we have active/passive anyway? Isn't this some old Tanaka doing? Why not just engage an enemy for a physical attack and automatically go into active mode. If the mage doesn't attack physically, then the mage stays in passive. How hard is this?!
