i can confirm what the tranlator said, basically they're gonna hardlock the game at 90fps ,i'm so mad
*sigh* SE did it again....when will be the day i will stop getting surprised at SE screwing their customers.
It seems that the Unlimited -> 90FPS Cap is a temporary fix to game breaking bugs that only happen with unlimited FPS setting. I've heard that sometimes games just break when it runs at unlimited FPS, and of course, I believe mistakes were made that caused this to happen. I trust that Yoshi-P will find a way to iron out this problem in the near future. For the moment, I'd just stick with it, then ask for an update regarding this situation come in next LIVE interview.Just seen the translated "excuse" for 90fps limit from this reddit-thread

i ve been playing at 144 since 2.x, you know what?...i never find anything broken so idk what are these problems you talking about (and no out of bounds doesnt count, its harmless.), i understand you dont mean ill intention by writing what you did, but its simply not true.It seems that the Unlimited -> 90FPS Cap is a temporary fix to game breaking bugs that only happen with unlimited FPS setting. which can be alredy get bypassed by hacking programs....even if 30 or 40 fps.....
edit: also its not a good practice to screw your entire playerbase to kick some cheaters (not even all, just some), when, you could invest some money and put a good anti cheat system or security measures....

What a boneheaded decision, this is some Bethesda-league bull. Whoever approved this at SE needs to take a long hard look at what PC gaming looks like in 2019 and what it's going to look like in 5 years, then they need to ask themselves if they want their game to remain relevant then. 144hz+ and variable refresh rates are here to stay. If you don't want to face the collective pitchfork of the PC community, you will fix this. Anything less is insufficient.
Current year doesn't matter. Engine was hastily put together over 6 years ago, before VRR was really a thing. It's a bandaid fix, if it even works like everyone assumes it does. Everyone's pitchforking over it, which is usual on the internet. Will wait and see what the game actually does tomorrow. Then we can see. What a boneheaded decision, this is some Bethesda-league bull. Also, the pc gaming community can't even get together on small things, I doubt it'll explode over a 90fps limit until they can fix the issue.
