    That passive is totally irrelevant, you might want to look at it as some kind of cosmetic lore. It won't do or break anything. Having it removed is the same thing as having it. And they won't give you anything relevant in exchange for everlasting flight because they are well aware it's entirely useless.

    It would be delicate to balance a new effect too, because it comes out every two minutes, knowing that SMN already has Devotion on a 2min CD now. And with the foreseen rigidity of Trances, there is no way SMN would want to delay a Firebird Trance to align a potential buff to something.
    I already said it but I'll repeat that for me, the real Lvl 80 ability is Revelation and Demi Phoenix itself, and Everlasting Flight is lore flavour, nothing problematic in itself.

    Also saw question about necessity of 2 energy drain variations in comments to stream I was watching... and kinda yeah... Do we really need 2? Just make energy drain AOE with 60% flat falloff. Yeah 1st mob damage will be stronger but who cares? SMN already has huge aoe numbers and it won't change with ShB.

    I don't think you understood the point I was making. Ruinra\Ruin 2 - doesn't matter. What matters is eng description does not have "Duration: Permanent" info. And overall jp descriptions are less obscure and more straightforward.

    Though I'd actually like for traditional FF skills naming instead of 1 2 3 4 lol... but oh well whatever

    I didn't say it wasn't correct? It's just... for what reason they hid duration under revisions? You won't have "revisions" button in game... Either way it's strange to not have r2 to r4 and duration description IN THE TOOLTIP.
    Or you can look at fester description -
    Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 100.
    Additional Effect: Cause wounds inflicted by Bio and Miasma spells to fester, dealing damage with a potency of 200 for one effect, or 300 for both.
    It's kinda vague and made some people question if fester's potency will be 100+additional effect of 300 potency for 2 DOTs
    But from how JP tooltip is it's pretty obvious that 0 - 100, 1 - 200 and 2 - 300
    継続ダメージ効果無しのとき威力:100
    継続ダメージ効果1つのとき威力:200
    継続ダメージ効果2つのとき威力:300
    They literally just give you the list without vague rp phrasing.
