Housing demolition timer need to be changed! Sitting on your property needs to count.

I actually checked out this dude's stream. It's not bad, honestly (There's a bit too much fluff but I suspect that's because you have to wait for the pvp queue on PST hours). You know, although I am STILL on the side of, "You have a house...why don't you use it?" part of this argument, I can also see where the OP is coming from.

I'll be honest with you, those claiming it's "So easy to see the timers tab" actually have a reason to USE the timers... I have no reason to.. not crafters/gatherers/things that use leves of any sort, or anything else included in that tab. It's also buried pretty deep in the in game menus. The fact that it doesn't display housing time before you lose it ALWAYS is one of those things that is total bullshit, the more that I think about it. The housing system NEVER lets you know that you could get auto demo'd before it happens, unless someone tells you about it.

Never once during purchasing the house, did it have a pop up, WHEN I BUILT THE HOUSE that if I didn't visit it, I'd lose it after x amount of days. Combine this with the fact that it doesn't even show in the timers until it's well under way to being auto demo'd and you have a perfect storm. They do this shit with the tooltips as well, when you gain another ability that augments them, like Blood gain with the DRK enhanced blackblood traits, or SAM with the "Extra Kenki on positionals", you'd never know unless you went back and re read them.

The game IS cryptic when it comes to simple shit like this, so I honestly can see where OP is coming from.

They SHOULD have been accessing their own house for all the stuff they did, instead of going to the FC house for that stuff... but it's also kind of ridiculous that the game does NOT let you know this is a thing and really, you can lose your house, out side of an EMAIL, something outside of the game, and a timer that doesn't even appear until it's close to too late.

Yes, he should have used his house regularly or at least like once a week? But it still doesn't defeat his point that it's kind of B.S. the way the notification system works for this sort of thing. They have popups for nearly anything else in this game... ACHIEVEMENTS that no one cares about LOL, but that house you just dumped 40mil on, can be deleted if you decide to take a break from the game. This is the first major MMO I've ever really sunk meaningful resources and time into, so maybe it's just common knowledge that this can happen... but I can start to see where OP is coming from. The more I think about it, the less foolish his point becomes.

Nice stream, by the way. Not really into PVP but it shows that you put some work into it. Hopefully you can get another house someday.

The only reason you keep posting is because you got your place from this system and do not want it improved. Even if it helps others in my rare case. No penalty should be applied to a paying playing player for that. It needs to be fixed or people will continue to unsub.

I wouldn't have my house today if not for the demolition timer. My house if the most important thing to me, the point that I subscribed an entire year because I don't want to give it up. I log out every game in my bedroom and craft most everything in my house. I even personally craft almost 90% of everything in my house, a project which took me a month to complete. If you have to "babysit" your house, it really sounds like you don't even want it. If the house is a burden, let your house be given to someone like me, who will enjoy it thoroughly.

I dont think anyone really opposes a better warning system ingame - however the second part of his "suggestion" (the whole "I shouldnt have to go into my house, only the yard"-thing) is more problematic, because there is no actual need or reason for that to be added (if you can enter your yard, you can enter your house; if you can interact with a fountain, you can interact with the frontdoor), yet OP is very adamant about that needing to happen.

Better warning system - sure, why not!
Real solution to the whole mess, like instanced housing (or at least better apartments) - yes, please!
Wasting time to change the current timer to track entering your yard instead of your house? Nah, lets skip that.
