    That's strange, I could swear mounts were account wide.

    When I got the cloud mount throught something similar, I got it on all of my characters (and even now, I get it whenever I create an alt)

    Perhaps it's a bug ?

    The cloud mount from the Amazon promotion was account wide as was the fat chocobo from the promo before it. For some reason, SE decided to make the fat black chocobo one character only.
