It's kind of like in Discworld, there are "versions" of CMOT Dibbler everywhere, but that doesn't mean these Dibblers are actually related to each other. They just share in the same archetype of the enterprising merchant who sells foodstuffs of suspicious provenance wherever a crowd is gathered.
