Are you saying the First is....Personally my preference is that the First must have versions of characters we know, then they should not be duplicates of characters we know. Instead, they are the same archetypes.
So our counterpart on the First is (was?) Arbert, as the Warrior of Light who gets to contend against Primals and other such threats. The Bre-brother lookalike we may meet on the First isn't actually a version of a Bre-brother, but instead the idea of a travelling merchant, and his resemblance to a Bre-brother is sheer coincidence. There might be a Rowena-alike, as a ruthless trader who has built a mercantile empire selling to and buying from adventurers, but they might not literally be Gerolt's ex.
It's kind of like in Discworld, there are "versions" of CMOT Dibbler everywhere, but that doesn't mean these Dibblers are actually related to each other. They just share in the same archetype of the enterprising merchant who sells foodstuffs of suspicious provenance wherever a crowd is gathered.
