You know these two examples are interesting because >my opinion< is that monster hunter is a game where you have tons of gameplay and good fights but the world feels empty and skyrim is a place where the world is full and the fights are only so so. If those two elements got pulled in oh my this game.

Also yes skyrim makes this games seem like a bug free paradise. Ive glitched the main story TWICE so far to where it locked me out (console commands saved me some- no Blades story for me though) and ive had 5 quest items stick to me and the Windhelm murder quest also lock me out. That said it still is my favorite game this year. Why? Everytime I play it I have a new adventure in a new place. No dwarf dungeon places just like the last, each little bandit cave has its own little unique thing/story/gimmick and that alone makes me go whats down this way because I'm rarely if ever disappointed.

That adventure is what I look for in a decent MMO. I see that beginning to form each update but I think to get there you need the world redesign to happen first. Otherwise your spending all this time creating places that are mostly going away.

Skyrim's dungeons are each different in a sense, but they aren't completely different. They re-used assets like the same bridges, walls, enemies, traps, puzzles, ramps, and many other designs. This is most commonly seen in the Dwarven Ruins areas, and the caves. It's not nearly as bad as the previous ES games, but it's still quite bad. The voice acting is another factor that they re-used to death.

The lack of story, bad design decisions, poor AI, and the bugs of that game were a major downfall for me (horrendous on PS3), but I still enjoyed and platinumed the game.
