I wonder if this was specifically added to help with mechanics that require your HP to be full. And you wouldn't be healing that in about 99% of all cases. I suspect there's some Savage/Ultimate mechanic that would require them being maxed (Or doom, but if you don't notice that doom is still up, no arrow will help with that), but in most cases that is *not* worth a heal.
My favorite thing is the Dissipation now summons the fairy back automatically, now we can finally use the skill.
I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.
That is, I admit, a possibility I hadn't thought of, but at the same time I am not aware of any offhand, though I don't run the higher tier stuff myself to know all mechanics.
Lilies aren't pointless, nuff said.
I'm not quite sure. I have to experience the new healing rather than read about it. You know what I mean?
Also, it'll be a waste for me to buy the expansion. I boosted myself when Stormblood came out and I'm still on the beginning quests!
Stoopid fibro, chronic fatigue, etc...
*sigh*
You're joking. Please tell me you're joking.
Yeah and like eleventy million players told Yoshi the mechanic was horrible. He popped on and told players to not panic. He wrote that what we read was not the final iteration of what white mages would be.
Then S.E. released our job exactly the same as the version we all hated. I've never been so disappointed in Yoshi. I felt lied to and betrayed.

I remember. I was one of them, and I'm a SCH main. The lilies make more sense now than they did before, but whether they are good or not now? Eh...They're better?
There was one note during one of the interviews that particularly stuck me.Yeah and like eleventy million players told Yoshi the mechanic was horrible. He popped on and told players to not panic. He wrote that what we read was not the final iteration of what white mages would be.
Then S.E. released our job exactly the same as the version we all hated. I've never been so disappointed in Yoshi. I felt lied to and betrayed.
Yoshi's answer to a question regarding design was along the lines of "We are always looking ahead of where we currently are when we design skills."
FF14 may be the only game to claim to have a 10 year roadmap that I totally believe they can reach (We're starting year 7 now), but that was one of the sore points for me. He speaks from a perspective of looking at the finish line, and while we can all appreciate big picture thinking, the issue is that whether or not we have it later doesn't impact how empty something may feel now.
