    well anyone that don't even touch DRK in the past can find this version fun, but every DRK veteran find this version slow, uninteresting and boring, while i respect other opinions i hope the job don't get filled with casuals that are ok with this, this rework come at the cost of the fun of every DRK main from this past 4 years and should be fixed.

    well still unsure the problem with GNB and DRK aoe mitigation being Magic only
    its very very rare that there is physical raid wides

    i can only really think of a8s and Exdeath
    it'll be a problem if they pump out alot of physical aoe in the next raids but i doubt that

    Unfortunately it looks like with each expansion Dark Knight just gets slower, clunkier and more impractical.

    And they pretty much gave the fast and fluid playstyle to Gunbreaker. Probably done on purpose to push their agenda for people to flock to the new jobs.

    Kinda the same way I see a lot of Bards flocking to Dancer because of the general party support Dancer offers meanwhile support from the Bard was all but removed. I remember the old Foe's Requiem being amazing for casters. Now everything is just 3% crit. Oh boy.

    well but bards is a question of numbers, his gameplay remain intact and improved, something similar to monk when was the top melee dps before relegate that spot yo SAM, but his gameplay remain intact and since we can discuss about how clunky or impractical whas the new monk mechanics we can't deny those was added on top of his current gameplay improving the experience, DRK is the contrary since with every expansion we saw his gameplay simplified and removed and despite this new version would work bcs it's to simple to don't work literaly cost the DRK gameplay and this post worry me mostly bcs they are not DRK mains the ones that counter our feedback and boycot in some degree the chance to SE fix our fav job.

    I still think living shadow is disgusting. I feel like its more of a ninja skill the way its operating. Fray should just come out and do a single powerful attack so it works well in burst windows and you dont have to worry about boss animation windows. This would have made more sense if it was linked to TBN some more. TBN is calling upon fray in your darkest hours. That energy eventually builds up and is released as a powerful retribution attack. Alot of this dark knight just doesnt fit with what the NA dark knight forum goers have been asking for. I dont know anything about the japanese side honestly... whether or not the class is any better, funner, or sinergized better with a party setup remains to be seen.

    You have 2 strong abilities you want to play around to spend MP on that are oGCD, then you have blood gauge based skills that could potentially generate MP and then all the rest which helps with mp generation. On top of that you have something that War has "inner realese" which makes quietus and blood spiller free cost with each hit generating MP, not to mention a shadow which cost blood gauge which mimics your moves.
    The changes are really nice and you will find DRK more interesting to play around managing 2 resources, which will be quite tricky because DRK will have so many options to regen them you will have to plan your rotation in order to not gain too much.

    No DRK wont be slow at all, you will have 7 oGCD to use frequently, which grants different effects, 2 of them being those 2 strong abilities you want to spam all the time.

    There will be a place for many rotations on this job.

    current DRK have around 47 cpms while new DRK will have 37cpms, we are going to be much more slow now, practically we will have the same cpm as the other tanks, apart the resource generation aka MP and blood are refilled much more slowly bcs we are hitting slowly and we are no longer able to extend blood weapon.

    DRK new rotation is based only on 123 combo with keeping you oGCD on recast with a ocasional bloodspiller there and here until you have to go ungabunga with inner delirium, there is no managment anymore since you will spam edge of shadow and a ocasional TBn when you need it and bloodspiller/living shadow on sight.

    That's a rather harsh assessment towards the team that spent a vast considerable amount of time developing improvements for Dark Knight in Shadowbringers.
