I've mentioned I'd be equally ok with either an Au Ra or Elezen-like build, but the Elezen-type seems more likely at this point. Elves are typically understood as "fierce defenders of the forest" as well, so the idea of a tall, slender bowman jumping from branch to branch isn't exactly unseen (at least, until authors starting treating elves like fops and jokes). Not to mention how similar Viera bodies are to Elezen, side by side they have a more pronounced hourglass figure, and they don't seem to have such freakishly long necks, so "Elezen done right" does fit them very much.

also, I can confirm that female viera have the exact same body as female elezen, so it's veeeery likely they didnt have to refit 10k pieces of gear (if any) to their new body. This makes me think male viera will be the same as the females, an elezen with better proportions and bunny ears

They still have to refit all the gear to them. The proportions are different, and thus the models are different. Not to mention that the emotes and weapons also had to be adjusted and fitted.

Now, in a totally serious note this time around, there is also copyright material from other companies as a source of inspiration for male Vieras. You can't do that and the reason should be totally obvious.

Is not that simple. If for whatever reason a male Viera ends looking "very similar" to a Castanic and for whatever chance Bluehole find this topic has the potential to be used to sue SE for plagiarism. Sound stupid I know but it what It is. I pretty sure if someone reports the imagines mods will delete the post (don't do it).

With regards to Castonics from Tera the Au Ra will be far closer than male viera and there hasn't been anything yet that we know about, the closest thing male viera could infringe on is fire emblem with Yarne



yet so long as male viera don't go full rabbit beast they (Edit :shouldn't) be able to be sued for copyright infringement
