Will I be able to play StB content during ShB early access?

Hello,

I played FF14 back when Heavensward came out and really enjoyed it. However, I did not keep up with it at the time. Since then, a lot of friends of mine have been jumping back into the game for the launch of Shadowbringers and we are very excited for it.

With that being said, I never officially purchased Stormblood as a separate item. I am obtaining it through the purchase of Shadowbringers. Will I be able to access the Stormblood questline to begin working through that content when the early access period for Shadowbringers begins? Or will I have to wait until the official release of Shadowbringers to start the Stormblood content? I am fine with either option, I just want to officially know so I can set the time aside since it's going to take me a bit to get through everything.

If it is needed, I do have the Steam copy of the game (Sadly! I was young, forgive me!). I have also purchased and confirmed my CD key for Shadowbringers early access through the Mogstation. If any other information is needed, I would be happy to offer.

Did you acquire SB as a package with ShB? If you are supposed to get SB, then you should have a CD key for it already which (when plugged in) should open up SB content for you right now.

Err anyways, whenever youre given the CD key for SB, thats when you should get access since SB is a current xpac. You shouldnt be gated from it if you got the key for it.

I am getting StB through the purchase of ShB. I did not purchase it separately. It is entirely understandable that I cannot play the StB content now and I don't mind waiting.

As per the steam store, it says: "Please note that the FINAL FANTASY® XIV: SHADOWBRINGERS expansion pack also includes FINAL FANTASY® XIV: HEAVENSWARD & FINAL FANTASY® XIV: STORMBLOOD, which will be provided at release on July 2, 2019. This package requires FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online Starter Edition (A Realm Reborn) to play the game."

However, since there is an early access period for a few days prior to the official release, I was curious as to whether or not I will be able to access the StB questline during the early access period or if I would need to wait until the full release.
