I don't see any compelling reasons for a boost to 50. It's not like you even need to level characters from scratch to change classes/jobs.
Lvling is easy cake in comparison to the amount of quests you will find out about.
You will be locked at lvl 50 until you are done about 300 quests.
Imagine in WoW your lvl is locked on each map and you having to finish all the quests before you go to higher lvl.

Samurai and ninja start at 50 lvl.

    That's not strictly true.
So long as you have the licence for HW/SB/ShB, then you can level to their level cap no matter where you are in the story. (my alt is still in HW but is level 67)
But the MSQ will gate you in terms of content you can play at those levels, and of course you won't be getting EXP relative to those levels in ARR areas so it will take you longer to get there.

No, if they bought expansion. They will be about ~55lvl at HW start. Will not have bossibility to start HW dungeons though, for obvious reasons.

Also not 300, no need to so drastically exaggerate it. Post-ARR contains exactly 100 MSQ quests.

People buy a game and want a way to not play the game? What?

Buy a job and story skip then, but don't complain when people say you don't know what you're doing because you skipped.

Samurai and RED MAGE start at 50, and you need to complete The Ultimate Weapon quest (that is, base 2.0 content, so you'll already have one level 50), this was after the backlash against HW's jobs being locked behind finishing all of ARR quests and starting at level 30. NINJA starts as Rogue at level 1 and you only need to unlock the Armoury system.

Imagine WoW but they care about the story.

People buy a game and want access to endgame content without being forced to slog through hundreds of UPS quests?

People don't know what they're doing even if they don't skip. Skip or not, a person won't change. With all the skill description the game gives you, if you are a good player, you will figure out the class pretty quickly and play it at an efficient level.

This argument always amuses me. Back when I first started out a little after Heavensward released, I grinded DRG from 32 to 54 in a single day doing nothing but FATEs. You know what I learned? Absolutely nothing outside 123. I figured out the rotation because I already had guide videos up and just took out abilities I didn't have since most were for level 60. Likewise, I have several jobs leveled through PotD/HoH. Leveling doesn't teach you a thing. If a person is committed to the game and self improvement, they'll seek advice. If they aren't, they aren't going to care whatsoever. A jump potion has very little impact on that.

That's....the same thing as what I said?

If a player is actually good, he will find ways to improve. I'm not against level skips, I was pointing out to the other person that skip or not, someone who is essentially a potato will remain a potato.

I'm not sure what your point is.
