    But thanks for a lesson in WAR I guess. The upwards scaling wasn't even the only problematic part - so was the potency drop, especially in cases like Godka opener. It was just bad all around and so was the old Defiance buff btw ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Im rather over the gap closer issue. But the built in tankstance was a freebie Se left on the table. War could just havethe HP+heal 25% and have virtually no effect on gameplay, but keep the fantasy/aesthetic of war a little stronger. Complete missed opportunity. It would be l8ke paladin making shelltron just flat damage reduction instead of 100% block chance. They get to maintain their shield based defense aesthetic when it could have been a plain flat mitigation tool.

    This was a very easy, and obvious item SE missed for bo reason.

    Except switching WAR's hp effect to mitigation was a buff and changing Sheltron to flat 20% would be a nerf. Not really the same at all.

    Did i say 20% for my hypothetical shelltron example? No. I didnt. So that bad idea is all you. Please read what i said, not what you wish i said.

    And if you notice i said 25% hp and 25% healing as the old defiance was only 25% hp and 20% healing. Yes the 20%dr is a buff, by 5% lower healing requitements, but if SE did what i said (25%/25%) is would be identical to the 20% dr change (which is a buff, i never said it wasnt). The entire point is we can have the exact same effect as 20% dr but keep the warrior flavor of fat hp with no real reppercussions with a simple +25/25 to match -20%.

    Anything else you would like to accuse me of saying?

    It would've been nice to keep the flavor of each, though I'm not sure where GNB would've fell along the spectrum. It's not that it was a bad idea to combine all the effects of the various stances into a trait, it was just a rather boring way to go. They probably could've made a different trait for each that better reflected the aesthetics/playstyle of that particular job.

    Enjoy your 400potency/min gap closer instead of a dps loss. Just doin a war thing but a tad bit better. Enjoy your shelltron and passive shield block mitigation that grows over and expansion. Just other tank things but a tad better.

    You either homogenize or you have small discrepencies. Small discrepencies means someones thing will be a 'tad better' . If having a 2 minute, ability of another class be slightly buffed is the price of job identity, im fine with it the same way i dont make posts whining about pld scaling its defesnive power for free. You cant find a post of me whining about the dps gain of other tanks gap closers vs wars dps loss version. Youll never fine a post of mine conplainong that defiance has been weaker than other tank stances for 5 years because i accept there are minute differences between tanks to maintain job identity.

    Im not going to sit here and play tit for tat on every tiny thing thats different vetween tanks or we just add to the crowd of peoppe begging for each others toys and we end up with shadowbringers were we all end up with practically the same toys and, shockingly, everyone is still whining about every little difference while also bemoaning homogenization.

    This community brought this crap on themselves.

    That would require 1) dev time, and 2) the devs knowing what to do with tanks.
