Why aren't people more players up in arms over the uselessness of Everlasting Flight? (For anyone that doesn't know: Demi-Phoenix applies a 20 potency/20 seconds AoE regen effect on the entire party upon being summoned.)

As a recurring summon in Final Fantasy, Phoenix usually revives/heals to full. That's not feasible for this game. So the developers best idea was a garbage regen? DELETE IT.

Unfortunately giving Phoenix it's original potential in this game would just make it OP. You can't have auto-life as it would make the job a must pick and you could attempt to cheat certain mechs with it (similar to tank's invuln actions), and then you can't have a mass group rez because that's essentially what LB3 is supposed to do. So what can Phoenix have that isn't too broken but still taps in to the lore of it being a utility/damage based summon.... I'm not sure Regen was the only option but what can you give it that isn't going to make other jobs complain of X being able to do Y while something else can't etc (happens already and surprised there aren't more threads calling for Verregen).

Still the action as it stands is not that powerful but it has potential to change in later patches just like Devotion was in SB. So moving forward as long as the entire job flows well or has patches to get to that if necessary then perhaps Everlasting Light well get more attention for adjustments.
