And i just read an interview yesterday conducted by Dengeki, where apparently after beating the main scenario, you get these special 'crystals' from which you can summon simulacrums of the Scions at level 70, and can level them up, so now I don't know what to think.

So in the end we still have to "improve" their level by leveling them once MSQ is over like normal NPC companions from other RPG games.

hope they bring some Trust Companion quests later.
