The reasons we DPS heal

In Final Fantasy XI you could use Protect, Shell, not just "Vercure" but Cure 2, 3, and 4. FOUR guys. There was Phalanx, Stoneskin, Blink, the Na spells for anti enfeebles... I really think that they need to add more support skills to Red Mage it actually effects my enjoyment being that in FFXI they had so many.

I honestly cannot imagine why an upstanding player such as yourself ended up in GM jail.
Even understanding the context from the thread that spawned this, why are you so proud of putting no effort into the way you play the game?

Though the hilarious part is, I am hella DPSing. I'm willing to party with anyone in this thread if they think I don't DPS or something xD.

They trolling. In other threads they argue that healers shouldn't DPS at all.
