Not to mention the Levequests have you running all over the fricken place.

Or, if they don't, then they give a lot less XP. Pick up Levequest at major city, go waaaaaaay out to the middle of nowhere to turn it in, come back to the major city.....

Then your issue is that you're not doing them efficiently. Make the town in question your free teleport or a discounted one and simply use the leve to generate enough gil to pay for the teleporting too and from. Besides, the trade off to having leve kits/quests is that you are trading the time that you would normally spend grinding or waiting for beast tribes dailies, etc and exchanging it with the significantly faster act of teleporting, walking to an NPC, turning it in, and going back.
