It just depends on if they've designed healing to be closer to Stone Vigil's cure II spam (yuck) or undersized-party-Hunts/raid content with super fun weaving of all kinds of spells and reactive healing. But, it's most likely that they just want players to not be entirely focused on DPS, or letting Eos/Selene and essential dignity heal the tank like in leveling content, which is way too easy and totes just malefic spam for the entire dungeon
