First of all, not all hunts are "landmined" or pop right in front of the player attempting to spawn. For most you have to perform the trigger and then go look for the hunt. Just finding the hunt would eat up a chunk of your proposed timer.
When you have trolls who camp out in zones with the hunt sniffer running so they can locate and instantly engage the hunts when they do spawn, it gets really frustrating.

We have to do what we did before : to find the ninja pullers, blacklisting and kicking them from all hunt LS and to kick the whole guild who support them. We did it and hunts were cleans after that.
Rather than a timer...make all S ranks in all regions lvl cap. You wouldn't be able to solo...you would need larger numbers to kill it...and they would live longer than 10 seconds thus allowing more people in route to get there before its killed. ARR S ranks already die quickly...at lvl 80 they will die with a sneeze.
There are enough A ranks and trains that nothing needs be done.
Eh, that actually got a bit ridiculous sometimes. I saw many of my ls's start by fair policing of obvious griefers but gradually devolve until they were foaming at the mouth and scouring their hunt ls's out for blood after sprouts who unknowingly soloed HW A's and people who accidentally pulled or flew too close to a hunt just once. Kicking an entire guild for one member is just pathetic too.
Besides, it's pointless anyway. Intentional early pullers all use the relay sniffer. There are even ls's for early pulling. If there's a hunt, they'll get to it.


Hunts are not intended for large groups of players. If you're going to ask SE to change how hunts work, you should probably ask for something that allows everyone to participate instead of only increasing the number marginally. If someone is offline, in a duty, can't get to the server or zone because of congestion or is unable to tag the target due to server issues from the cramming, they'd still miss out.


Don't worry, we perfectly knew who they were and after some warning, they were still ninja pulling, and were proud of it, and had some back from there guild. They didn't want to believe we could actually go as far as to kick them as a whole. We did.
To explain what happend, the ones who were spawning the S started to really fed up of ninja pull : spawners announced "pull at 05", theses ... bloody ninjas, were pulling at 02. There were not spawners, just damn leechers who thought they could do as they pleased.
