I'm on PS4 so I never had any of that. I have noticed that when I enter a housing zone that the PS4 fans make more noise than usual meaning it's working harder..


I think what they could do is only load things that's on your screen. It may not be pretty when you walk up to a house and see it pop up in front of you but it's a good way to save energy.

I agree! I have several trees AND leaf piles in my yard and they all count each as an item. Even an increase of 5 would go a long way.

I would like see more slots. This however is more justification for moving to instanced housing. The yard can become part of the house's instance removing the limitations of the housing ward instance.

I do not support the idea of increasing the number of outdoor items. I do not want my housing ward zoning times to be similar to zoning into Kugane / Rhalgar's Reach / insert other end game zone here.

I do support moving the Aether Crystal and mailboxes to the market boards, that would be great.

I know this is an old thread but we're still waiting for more slots outside!! I would even be happy with 5 extra slots but would prefer at least 10. Please devs please!!! I hope it comes with SHB.

Yea, there's improvement needed to expand the slots for the outside. So many nice items to display yet we are limited by choice.

Or limited by other things like the servers trying to render the 730 items people currently have placed in their yards (plus the houses with the different skin options as well as the random NPCs that walk around). Example:

There's a reason it's so much harder for them to give us more outdoor furniture slots. Yoshida has said they're looking into how to give us more outdoor slots, but it could be a lot for some people's computers or PS4s to handle.
