And that is where I'll have to disagree with you. I want elegant face options not as a fetish, but because that is just the desired aesthetic I'm trying to achieve with a mViera character. Sure, some people make a character to oggle at some pixels, but the same could be said of literally any race in the game. But don't generalize everyone who wants elegant options as fetishist, that's just rude.

Again, elegance is not feminine. You want an elegant character and that's different than wanting a feminine one. I'm not attempting to attack you or anyone else but from observation those wanting feminine (not elegant) faces are in it for the fetish.

I'm with you on avoiding same face syndrome. Highlander only has two good faces, sadly. I hope they avoid it with viera.

To be honest, I joke a lot but some of the stuff here is a little weird. I feel like a lot of the people who want male viera, at least the vocal majority around here, want it for fetish reasons..

Yeah, I'm not too keen on their faces, either. There's 1-2 good options but the customisation options are limited. I tend to find male Au Ra and Midlander faces more appealing, with the former having two very solidly masculine options and one which is still masculine but can be made softer (the Magnai face.) Male Midlanders tend more towards the young twenty-something male aesthetic, but you can customise the derplander face and a few other picks to look manly... just not as hard-featured as the Au Ra male face.

Since I mentioned Garlean Purebloods, I also tend to find the aesthetic they use for Varis and Gaius, with their harder but handsome facial features, appealing. Varis is sort of how they should have done the older Elezen male face, if they wanted it to be attractive.

I don't think they should just do a carbon copy/paste of any of these onto Viera, but I think that's the direction they should be considering, i.e. borrowing what works from Au Ra, Highlanders and Elezen (and I guess Purebloods) and adapting them to work with the Viera aesthetic. Elezen will obviously provide a good base for the less square-jawed variety of facial picks.

I concede to that point then, elegance =/= feminine. I only worry about being given nothing but rugged/rough face options. I'll likely still be a Dancer if mViera is released and I just don't think a rugged/rough looking face would go well with that class.

Can we stop bringing fetishes up please >_> if we go by those that want male viera are doing it purely to fulfill their fetish desire than what about Roe and Hrothgar are they just used by people with bara and furry fetishes or mi'qote and au ra for waifu fetishes or lalafel for the unspeakable fetish, NO they aren't, so please get off this train of male viera supporters that only want feminine for a fetish desire.

I'd like 4 face options, 1 neutral, 1 rugged/muscular, 1 older and 1 young this gives the biggest range for people you could potentially make a more feminine with the young/neutral faces but be impossible with the other 2 and vice versa with rugged. If faces don't fit body oh well at least the option was given just like its possible to make a slightly androgynous face with female viera

We may reside on different servers so the exposure could be different, but on my server they are pretty straightforward about wanting it for a fetish, but it's like you said, we do not have to agree and that's fine. Except there are many people wanting viera male for fetishes. They've stated it. I haven't seen nearly as much sexual talk about any of the other races unless they're miqo'te. Now this doesn't mean that everyone supporting male viera is wanting it for a fetish. That's obvious. But those wanting super feminine androgynous bunny boys clearly are.

It can be a horror at times. My experiences don't always match others so my viewpoint may be different or skewed. Anyways, I'm all for male viera and I hope they come out looking epic!
