I just got back to playing XIV after a few or so months and I see that the battle system has slightly changed. I'm wondering about changes to the game's core gameplay, like what are things that have been added in that I could do daily? For example, what things can I do other than guildleves and behests now? And how would I go about doing them? Any information would be appreciated!

Well, seeing your that your around lvl 28, you can go ahead and start working towards a grand company allegiance. There are supply missions, caravans and quests that will give you GC seals to spend on cool armor or promotion. Assuming you haven't already... If you have... start throwing together a group of 4+ and get some caravans going! There is also Toto-Rak, and some nice areas to Party for some sweet XP.

Outside of that, there should be some quests to pick up from different places too, so keep an eye out for an exclamation point on your map!
