Dancer Gear

Really i think new jobs that come out should have their own gear.
I know why they do it the way they do and most agree and while my inventory is always full i would not mind if Dancer had it's own gear

Theres still not a great number of options that work well or give a dancer feel... I just pray they release lots of dancer theme'd items with expansion. and that suit tall characters too! Alot of crafted gear only look good on small characters like Aura and kitties.

I think they'll at least give dancer some starting gear that fits like RDM and SAM got.

Hpefully they'll also make some sets in ShB too. Like if the first cheap set of tome gear is dancer themed etc.

Here is praying. Been tearing my hair out trying to find a nice leveling set....i feel like im going to have to just use the bustier untill we see what the 60 gear is like or what crafted stuff comes out.

Though i'm not sure if the red mage or sam starting gear was actually 'new' or not, so dancer could end up starting with a recolored Thavnairian set or something...guess we'll find out, but I'm pretty sure it'll give some baseline starting gear, would be silly to have a job start at 60 without it after throwing a bone to red mages and samurai.

Have a look at the Lv50 versions purchased with Allied Seals and upgraded at Hyrstmill - maybe that will dye better for you.

They weren't new gear models - RDM had the recurring mage gear from ARR of course, and boots that are used with that design for a Lv50 healer PVP set. Samurai gear is based on the Doman mage gear purchased in Ishgard, and BLU got the recoloured Valkyrie set.

So recoloueed existing gear is likely, but hopefully they'll go for something less accessible than the Thavnairian gear - even if it's an obvious choice.

Maybe they'd use the Star Velvet Himation design that I was planning to use anyway! (They're normally mage gear but there's a scouting version from the Sirensong Sea.) The sleeves are very similar to the relic gear.

Looked at it...its only slightly better... can't get it to match my normal ascetic at all...

I was also struggling to find proper DNC themed gear outside of the obvious Thavnairian bustier that everyone and their dogs will be rocking.

There's actually only very few of them! Some mogstation items got nice pieces to complement but again $$$...

I'm sort of using this


But gotta find more within the aiming sets across the game. I actually think the scouting sets are way more appropriate. I know DNC is going to fill ranged physical dps slot, but heck, in every gameplay video, it showed that you had to spend half of your time in melee to get your AoEs done.

-head, rainbow brightlily corsage
-body, Hempen Undershirt midnight blue dyed
-hands, angelic chaplets
-legs, eastern lord's trousers midnight blue dyed( may swap out for taoist's slops)
-feet, eastern lord's crackows
