Not a specific thing, but recently when running some of the alliance raids, I get annoyed having to fight aggro with teh other two tanks. If I engage, have Grit on, and do a proper opener, it usually means Im tanking this. If I drop grit, it doesnt mean keep your tank stance on and try to rip aggro off me and spin the boss. Herk. Just gets even more annoying when I see tanks spam aggro combos in their tank stance half way into the fight in some wierd attempt to take hate.

If you want to tank, then just call it. Im not gonna contest it, but if no one is saying anything, doesnt put their tank stance on, or even try to pull, Im just gonna assume MT and pull so we can get the ball rolling on things.

It entirely depends on said alliance raid. In lvl 50 raids on PLD I constantly rip aggro on bosses in sword oath because I only have one combo to use. In lvl 60+ raids there is no real excuse to not use your dps combos.

Doing more Prae runs because 3 tomestones (this drop rate sucks) + 2/300 tomestones for Shire gear and I can just read this thread during down time.

Currently doing it as WHM alt, and carrying an ARC (no, not a BRD), a SCH who is standing around ONLY casting succor, and doing it every time it's off gcd, and a NIN (I think) who keeps dying, I assume they're standing in everything because as long as you aren't, it's -really hard to die in Prae-.

Guys, my shoulders, back, and knees can't take this.

Edit: Wasn't a NIN, was a SUM. Still, I feel this is even less acceptable, as SUMs have basic healing they can resort to. It's not GREAT, but as long as you're not standing in everything...

And they kept calling for raises when the bosses were at like, 10% health. Bruh, I'm sorry, it's Prae, it's better if I just... keep DPSing...

I had high hopes we could make it to the first boss without any death at least.

Decided to go as a tank with my hubby on trial roulette, because why not, even thought I didn't play with my PLD for a while (and by that I mean for-e-ver), I thought, hey, if it goes wrong, hubby can tank, it's fine.

I actually thought it'd be easy.

But then we ended up in Kugane Ohashi.

So, I did it once a few weeks ago with my BRD. Even then I was confused as heck. And now, late at night with a few drinks, I end up here, as a PLD.
I cried and laughed a little bit when it started. Like, thanks Lady Luck.

Everyone was new— and basically I was new too because I only did it once and could barely remember a thing. So we had quite a few wipes.

But in the end, we did it. Yay

So I'm leveling MCH, I have 19 levels left between MCH, PLD and DRK and I queue up for 50/60 roulette and it's Wanderer's Palace hard.

It's me, a WAR, AST and RDM.

I try to stay positive thought we're doing baby pulls despite everyone being geared up, but whatever, it's WP HM and it's a easy dungeon, everyone else was a returner or a sprout, so if they want to take it slow, I don't mind.

We get to the standards and I notice they're trying to break them so I politely let them know we just need to pull the mobs out of them, and they listen. But it's here that I notice how sloppy the tank and healer are but like it's not a big deal so I just do my best to push dps to get us out. Lol The others run around the corner after the asylum key drops and I'm like... Ok whatever. I pick it up and let the tonberries out and they open the path. It takes the others a while to notice they're not getting anywhere.

I take the time to explain the mechanics to everyone because this one if you don't know how to handle the doom, it can be tricky, and the tank and healer obviously have no idea what they're doing.

...and as soon as I am done explaining I notice the tank is just standing off in the hall, and they take the time to type out that we should just ignore the mechanics.

and I'm like. No. We can't ignore the mechanics in this one.

Sure enough the healer dies to the doom, and then the tank dies from a lack of heals, I die to doom and the RDM gets murdered by the boss.

We go just fine the second time, though I wonder if the healer understands what they need to do or if we just got lucky with ticks of aspected benefic.

I'm mostly just annoyed that after I took the time to explain everything the tank just wrote it all off. Like I get you wanna be leader big boy tank, but if you're not even gonna do real pulls and you have no idea what you're doing, maybe listen to the person that explains the mechanics, I didn't do it for me, I know them, I did it so ya'll go in with the knowledge.

I'm wondering if maybe they thought it was WP normal, cause if it was that, yeah, just burn the boss, but lets not do that with the boss that will kill you with doom.
