What does sch do now with no dps options

So with healing dps being changed I'm very concerned about the raid scene.

With a prepull spread adlo. And eos heals there will be a period of time for gcds that are not healing before is required. Withthe changes all they can do is spam the 1 keywhich just seems dull.

If paired with Whm or ast the firstraid wide and autos will be mitigated by the shield then healed up by an aszie or earthy star. Leaving the sch to spam the 1 key

So how many gcds of spamming the 1 key will be required before they need to do something else 9/10? How many times do we spam the same key before it gets boring

In addition the reward for getting better isn't a more optimised rotation but more time spamming the 1 key... So why bother to get better

Not saying sch is completely ruined it just looks dull to play now. They look to have amazing ogd heals when they are needed but what are they expected to we've them between. And why should they bother when there is no reward for playing better?

I've never played another mmo so can't compare but how do they reward healers for playing well... Do they just stand around doing nothing?

Ruin II- it'll have 200 potency with the trait that upgrades Broil II to III. So at the cost of 60 (if a smn's Ruination buff is on the target.) Or 80 potency (if no Ruination) you can weave your ogcds on that.

Or if you're MLG pro you can just single weave by clipping Broil III, but doing that to much will make you lose cast times.

On fights with more then one target, you can also weave on Art of War as its potency is higher then Broil II's after the first enemy.

It's honestly not really as bad as people are saying it is...

Continue to be the best healer in the game but be bored to tears while doing so.

In a fast-paced, damage-heavy game, 'not dying' would be its own reward. Neither of those things describe FFXIV though, so I guess... maybe SCH can solo heal most if not all 8-mans now? I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Only Critlo.
Critical Adlo now is named Catalyze while current effect is Galvanize. We'll only be able to spread Galvanize

Play a DPS and avoid the class until they fix it; these changes are unacceptable to me and I refuse to support the 5.0 vision of SCH they've rolled out. Sure, the healing kit is pretty good, but everything else I liked about the class has been gutted. Yuck.

I feel plenty involved when i aoe everything down as healers and try to hit as many stones/Malefic/Broils as possible before a mechanic happens.

And try to do so as soon as possible after a mechanic as i can.

If you want a complex rotation, which, let's face it, sch never even had, no matter how hard you try to make it out to be, then play dps? Not even being mean here, it's just a thing.
If you want to say sch has a complex rotation, what about any other class that have to position themself, hit procs, hit timewindows with buffs, try to manage their recources? Wow managing dots is so much fun if you do them, do 3 broils and they fall off again so you do it again to broil again.

Unless you main RDM or BLM and their playstyle is relatively forgiving.
