As a scholar main since Heavensward, here's my two cents. You're all bitching over nothing, genuinely.

That you would even bring healing up is a good sign you're missing the mark. And if you think we can't evaluate a rotation or how clunky a playstyle will be.. I don't know what to say. We've had WHM for years now, we can just use that as a basis since we're basically simplified down to their level now.

SE you've stated over and over that these changes are in development and subject to change... so change them. This is ridiculous. 1000MP Adlo, 2400MP Raise, all with a 10k MP pool? And no energy drain? I weep.

So... i just checked but on my low piety scholar the current MP costs of both raise and adlo are still about 1/10 and 1/5 respetively. so theres no real change in pace. i admit the loss of drain sucks... But i think we just gotta work with what we got. Its like SE ever listened to healers anyway. We just gotta work with whatever breadcrumbs the dev leave us with.

Yeah I'm not the least worried about MP management because there's really no way of knowing how they'll rework piety with mana regen. I will say that the build the influencers got to test had what looked like very poor mana regeneration. But even then I'll definitely wait to test it myself. Recitation for SCH will become a really big player in that field as well.

Btw, i did notice an oddity in the skill descriptions for Fey Illumination... I might have missread it, but i think it no longer said "Healing Spells". Just "Heals". So... could that mean we actually get them working for ogcd? Well maybe its just wishfull thinking on my part and its a typo in the press release.

That's what everyone has been thinking. It's not just Illumination too. Mantra, I think dissipation, etc.. have had their tooltips modified to, seemingly, reflect that ogcd skills now gain from their effects.

Welp, here goes SCH becoming the prime healer again. with a buff like that he will surely fill slot 1 in the healer duo. Im still sad to see how they butchered my babyboy, but still its good to know hes still relevant.
