Yes, it has not been good for a Paladin's output to pull in Stormblood, but since who produces the highest initial aggro isn't relevant in Shadowbringers and since endgame content is full of tankswaps, it's just not likely to matter anymore.

Not saying the DPS loss mattered to everyone. If you're wiping to bosses at 1% because a PLD pulled then there was probably another factor in the party that could have been improved.

You should go read the tooltips and potencies before blindly assuming the dps ot tanks. Royal authority has more potency than fell cleave for crying out loud. Pld has VERY high average potencies on their actions. They simply reserved the strongest single attack for war. 1 action does not determine dps.

Not sure about that Videra. At least for the gunbreaker. It looks like he will have less personal defense ability, but more buff ones. I think he will fit to OT position. I remember I read a post where Yoshi-P said he wanted to have a 4th tank to have 2 mainly MT, and 2 mainly OT oriented. And from everything I saw so far, GBR will be more OT oriented.

I mean all of them have been able to prior, it's just noted Warrior was the best one simply due to Defiance-Unchained-Tomahawk & Equilibrium generating so much enmity from the pull.

I suspect who pulls will not really be based on enmity as all tanks will have 'sufficient' enmity by using ranged enmity attack to grab and their enmity stance. They have removed enmity assists from ninja and such. Theres bo enmity combo or other actions with enmity multipliers. Theres nothing to help tanks woth enmity outside of the ebmity stance. So it must be enough enmity to pull without shirk (4mans) all by itself. If it's enough for 4s its enough for 8.

Woth that in mind, it wont really matter who pulls based on enmity because it looks like enmity as a concern 9s really going away all together.

Pullers will be determined by who can tank better and support the pulling tank better as OT.

Put another way, If war pulls it wont be ecause of the enmity from equil. It will be for the heal from equil. Defensive capabilities should be a larger factor than enmity when this goes live.
